Thanks for reading!

I assume your little boy is sleeping in the room with you because you said you'd like to put him in his crib in his room soon. I don't necessarily have advice, but I will say this: Atticus still has the same sleep cycles as a normal five month old baby, just like yours. He stirs, grunts, wiggles, and repositions himself every so often. When I had the baby monitor on, I would hear his every move and respond to everything because I thought he needed me. I have since turned the monitor off. I occasionally hear him stir if he does so before I go to bed, but I do not go in there. In the middle of the night, I don't hear it because it's not loud enough to wake me up through both of our closed doors. I do know it happens overnight, though, because he is NEVER in the same position/place that I left him. I do go to him if he actually wakes up and lets me know he wants me.

I guess what my big pile of word vomit is trying to say is that it's normal, it'll stop eventually, and don't respond to it, but that's probably easier said than done if he's in the other room.

:)

HTHAshley @ The Hagaboatershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02923133530309476669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7995751630559190219.post-24003503499602379112011-08-16T09:09:37.017-04:002011-08-16T09:09:37.017-04:00Hi!I got your blog info from the What to Expect bo...Hi!I got your blog info from the What to Expect board and I've been reading along for a couple of weeks (you are hilarious by the way) I was wondering if you could offer some advice. My little man will be 5 months on August 28th. He has been sleeping pretty good since he was born, with only the occasional waking in the middle of the night. Recently, he has started going to be at 8:30, sleeping solid until about 4, and then he starts moving around (grunting and moaning) he never wakes up though. Any advice on how to break him of this? We've never had to use the CIO method, because he loves to sleep! I would like to have him in his crib in his room in the next couple of weeks! Thanks for your help!Heathernoreply@blogger.com
